A lone vessel
Upon an alter sits
Holding a treasure inside

It holds within the glass
A single heart and soul
Place within for safety
So it can not be hurt again

There they will sleep forever
Untouched by love or hate
Untouched by things of the past
Never to be touched again

The storm of the night
Is but a refection
Of the storm within the jar
A storm that never cesses

Alone and abandoned
Left to whither and die
Never finding solice
Never finding peace
~
Lifetimes come and go
No one holds the key
Forever locked away
Never to know love again.
